On April 29th, we hosted a hybrid event, "From Basic Research to Innovation, the Dawn of Startups from the University of Tokyo," by Professor SUGA Hiroaki, who was honored with "The Ojima Distinguished Lectureship Award" from Stony Brook University.

The event was divided into two parts.
In the first, Professor Suga introduced his patents and talked about his research, showing data and materials to illustrate his points.
In the second half, he discussed his business and shared his experience researching and studying overseas, offering helpful information for people wanting to start their businesses.

Many people attended in-person and online, and many questions were asked during the Q&A session. Professor Suga answered each question precisely, making it meaningful, and the whole event succeeded.
